New Tripoli Bank is seeking a Full-time Accounting Specialist. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the accounting function; coordinating work within the unit or department, as well as with other departments and units; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.

New Tripoli Bank is seeking a Full-Time Loan Administration Specialist. The Loan Administration Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the loan processing function; coordinating work within the unit or department, as well as with other departments and units; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information. 

Essential Duties

  1. Performs a variety of duties to support the loan processing function of which the following are illustrative:
    • Prepare new loan documents for all loans in the LOS systems and upload/input new loan information onto the core system for both consumer and commercial loans; sorts and reviews the loan file.
    • Assembles, processes and prepares a separate loan file for all loans and scans loan files in accordance with prescribed operating policy.
    • Prepares and reconciles, on a scheduled basis, various loan reports as directed Updates system when necessary.
    • Prepares a variety of letters and forms such as evidence of home insurance, past due insurance premium notices, paid off loan letters and forced placed insurance. Orders customer coupon books.
    • Update missing loan documents in tracking system.
    • Processes new loan disbursements, loan payments, payoffs, and address changes, and processes draws on lines of credit and construction loans.
    • Processes paid loan files, including the return of documents to customers, prepare satisfaction pieces and lien releases and scan paid off documents.
    • Coordinates State electronic VINTEK system, for all lien and title filings on automobile loans. Completes UCC Filings & Terminations for commercial loans.
    • Serves as back-up for telephone system for Lending Department calls.
    • Handles incoming customer inquiries and payoff requests.
    • Tracks / reviews all loans that are HMDA reportable, updates LAR and maintains compliance.
    • Assists Loan Officers with the collection, retention and disposal of supporting loan documents. 
  2. Coordinates specific work tasks with the Credit Department to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  3. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
  4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness.
  5. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.
  6. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her area or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
  7. Maintain compliance with all regulations and bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
  8. Regular and predictable attendance is expected and is an essential function of the job.

Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent; specialized banking training and education required.

Essential Duties

  1. Performs administrative duties to support the credit analysis function of which the following are illustrative:
    • Receives and reviews data on prospective and active borrowers (i.e., financial statements, agency reports, and interview and investigation sheets) to assist the Bank in developing an assessment of credit risk.
    • Reviews and analyzes borrower financial statements to determine and stress-test repayment capacity and cash flow strength; identify trends impacting the credit risk.
    • Orders credit bureau reports, searches, flood, appraisals and title work requests.
    • Works with commercial lenders, providing recommendations as appropriate for loan decisions, risk ratings, credit structure; prepares sufficient information to document recommendations and support credit underwriting.
    • Provides thorough documentation of all financial analysis work, including ratios and other related information.
    • Ensures that all credit analysis activities are conducted in accordance with prescribed lending policy.
    • Maintains credit and collateral files.
    • Ensures that all bank appraisals adhere to Interagency Conforming Appraisal Guidelines under FIRREA.
    • Provides collateral (primarily residential real estate) valuations as needed in accordance with the Bank’s loan and appraisal policy.
    • Support the appraisal management function by completing reviews of residential and commercial appraisals, corresponding with appraisers as needed
    • Supports internal audit and federal and state examiners when on site for regulatory audit purposes. Obtains loan files and fulfills other information requests.
    • Represents the bank at business loan settlements upon request of supervisors.
    • Processes credit extensions, loan modifications, letter of credit changes, and other business loan documents.  
    • Able to make overdraft decisions and/or contact customers as needed to make line of credit transfers to cover overdrafts. 
    • Support post-closing record scanning and image capture.
  2. Achieves goals assigned to the Credit Analyst as part of the assigned department's annual plan.

Basic Qualifications

Essential Duties

  1. Performs a variety of duties to support the information technology function including microcomputer support, LAN management, problem resolution, introductory level PC training, of which the following are illustrative:
    1. Purchases, installs, and repairs computer equipment.
    2. Supports end users by identifying and troubleshooting problems with computer hardware and software.
    3. Research documentation to provide comprehensive technical solutions.
    4. Assists in administering all LANs, providing proper network management, and maintaining appropriate configuration to maximize network performance and efficiency; ensures appropriate network security controls are in place.
    5. Provides introductory level training on LAN basics and concepts as corporate needs dictate.  
    6. Provides support for resolution of end user LAN problems.
    7. Assists in the development and maintenance of internal computer training programs/materials and/or the review and purchase of external materials.
    8. Develops and maintains a working relationship with both internal and external customers to keep communication open and to identify areas of concern.
    9. Works with various departments to coordinate the installation and maintenance of third-party network application software and internally developed application solutions.   
    10. Supports Chief Information Officer on troubleshooting and resolving any installation and upgrade issues.
    11. Works with management to gather and analyze information for developing and modifying various applications.
    12. Fulfills requests for custom reports (i.e. CRYSTAL reporting) required by outside auditors, Federal and State Examination Staff, and other internal bank departments.
    13. Engage in active IT Enterprise Risk Management.  Identifies gaps and emerging risk areas and recommends how they should be managed, both internally and with outside vendors.   Prioritize security of all systems.
    14. Work with outside vendors to maintain systems and ensure optimum performance and high level of service.
    15. Support Chief Information Officer with review of Service Agreements and Vendor Management Process.
    16. Update rate fields on internet banking site as necessary.
    17. Performs actions as required by regulatory compliance within area of responsibility as assigned by supervisor. 
    18. Produces and maintains all necessary documentation required by regulatory compliance within area of responsibility as assigned by supervisor.
    19. Keeps management informed of status of projects and assignments.

    1. Opening and maintaining new accounts, as well as gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts.
    2. Aid the customer service team involved in soliciting new business from present and prospective customers. Also, build and maintain ongoing business relationships with new and present customers to promote additional bank products and services.
    3. Provide customer service information on a timely basis in order it may be included as part of monthly and year-to-date performance reports. May also be assigned to review daily, weekly, and monthly reports for accuracy and follow-up.
    4. Attain complete working knowledge of all bank products and services, including features and benefits, to meet and educate the financial needs of the customer.
