Gather up your things to bring to Jacob's Church's first Switch n' Pitch
Switch n' Pitch is a fun, free way to clear out your things that are still good quality, but you are ready to part with.
Things to bring: clothing, shoes, jewelry, home decor, housewares, games, toys, books, craft supplies, etc.
Bring your items and then take a look around at what your friends have brought. Find something that is "new" to you and grab it!
Take home any items absolutely free... feel free to bring a little and take a lot or bring a lot and take a little (or nothing). At the end of the day, we will haul remaining items to Goodwill.
Don't forget to invite your friends and family!

Camp is for ages 12 - 16 years old and is FREE! Camp is sponsored by Cetronia Ambulance Corps, Cetronia Fire Company, Greenawalds Fire/Rescue, South Whitehall Police, South Whitehall Emergency Management, and Woodlawn Fire Department.
The South Whitehall Township Emergency Services Camp will offer youth the opportunity to learn about the important role that public safety workers play in the community, as well as provide a basic understanding for pursuing a fulfilling career in emergency services. Campers will travel to different locations throughout the week. Transportation will be provided by Cetronia Ambulance Corps. A full schedule will be provided on the first day of camp.

The New Tripoli Fire Company will be holding a community yard sale at Ontelaunee Park. Spots are available under the pavilions or in the grass. You will need to bring your own tables and chairs.

Race to Taste, Curbside Grill, and the Nesting Box Creamery food trucks will be on site. Vendors and crafters welcome.

Join the Weisenberg Lutheran Church for a two-day Community Picnic. Enjoy food and fun, including a cake walk, prizes and more. Entertainment will be Class Act Productions from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Valerie Borman/Fred Reith from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, and Hymn Singing from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. and the Steel Creek Band from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Bring your own lawn chairs! All proceeds support Sunday School programs.

Join your friends and neighbors for the 4th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Ontelaunee Park. The ceremony will honor local Gold Star family, Alan and Tammy Van Parys, parents of LCPL Brandon Van Parys, USMC KIA in Al-Anbar Province, Iraq. National Anthem performed by Nashville Recording Artist Valerie Borman. We will recognize 12 local Veterans' names that have been added to the granite monuments in 2025. Food trucks will be available before and after the ceremony including.
All Veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms or military service apparel.

Debbi Zvanut has been weaving baskets for 35 years, learning when she was 10 years old. After being a hobby weaver and learning from local teachers, she has started sharing her skills with Girl Scouts and 4-H programs and now leads adult classes in 5 locations including her home. Debbi provides all the materials. There is no excuse not to come, if you've been wanting to do this.

Vince's Famous Cheesesteaks food truck will be on-site on April 9 from noon until 6:00 p.m.
The Pennsylvania Dutch have made a tremendous impact on our nation's development, and as recently as 1950, a half million individuals spoke or at least understood the Pennsylvania Dutch language. Despite this, many do not fully appreciate the curious and unique history of these people and their language. Join Bradley Smith for an entertaining discussion exploring the origins of the Pennsylvania Dutch and the importance of their legacy. Whether you are a "native Pennsylvania Dutchman," who grew up speaking the language, or a person who is completely new to our region, this program will have something for you!
Speaker Intro: Bradley Smith holds a Masters of History degree from Shippensburg State University and is the Assistant Director at the Berks History Center. A native of Lebanon County, he grew up in a PA Dutch family, hearing their language spoken everyday. He has been an adjunct professor of history at Alvernia University for nearly 20 years, and has been teaching PA Dutch classes since 2022.

Memorial Day Observance presented by the Macungie Memorial V.F.W. Post #9264 and Auxiliary. Flag raising and VFW Memorial Day ceremonial at Macungie Memorial Park. Memorial service "All Gave Some - Some Gave All" Memorial by the Macungie Veterans Association.
In the event of rain, Memorial Day services will be held in the Macungie Memorial Park auditorium at 10:30 a.m.
