No need to make a costly journey to Philadelphia to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday.
The Allemaengel 250 Committee is bringing the historical characters of Betsy Ross and Ben Franklin to you from the City of Brotherly Love PLUS Michael Jesberger aka Mr. History; Pageantry by the Brandywine Colonials Fife and Drum Corps; 1st Pennsylvania Regiment militia demonstrations; a special tribute to the local Patriots who fought for our Nation’s freedom; Liberty Bell Replica; Colonial tent encampment and history projects by Northwestern Middle School Students; evening hoedown with Keith Brintzenhoff and so much more. The WK & S railroad will also be making two Liberty Express Runs.
Free parking, free admission and all events FREE.
Items for sale include food by the kitchen of the Kempton Community Center; tickets for a Pennsylvania German themed raffle; and our Allemaengel 250 outdoor signs and garden flags designed by Kempton artist Jon Bond featuring our unique logo commemorating the Liberty Bell.
