Celebrate Veterans Day at Ontelaunee Park with your friends and neighbors.

Three Food Trucks will provide great food and drinks from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., enjoy in the park pavilion all afternoon or take something home for dinner.

Great guitar music by Chris Noll plus basket raffles during the day. Meet with Memorial Committee members to learn about the new project for the memorial site.

Patriotic musical - The Gilbert Family “Sing for America” performance at 3:00 p.m.

Bag Pipers will perform a Military Tribute, Amazing Grace and other patriotic tunes to recognize the service of our veterans. Kutztown Pipe Band performance at 4:30 p.m.

Northwestern Lehigh Middle School students will conduct an educational Scavenger Hunt featuring the symbolism, history and quotations around the memorial site.

Speakers will be David and Jean Adam talking about "Having Fun with the Dialect."

Cost is $30 per person, buffet style.

Clothing drive runs from November 1st until the end of April 2026.

Coats, hats, gloves, scarves, winter shoes and boots will be collected and placed on the front porch of the Weisenberg/Lowhill Township Historical Society (Werleys Corner Road side) to make sure our community neighbors are warm. Gently used or new items are welcomed and appreciated. If you know of friends and neighbors who need these items, please spread the word and help us to care for neighbors in our community.

Ziegels 2nd Annual Handmade Market will have two floors of craftspeople and vendors, Slide On By food truck, Bake Sale, and raffle prizes. There are still some vendor spaces available. Please email ziegelsce@gmail.com for a registration form that includes all information.

Safe trick-or-treating in the Ziegels Church parking lot.

Prizes for best decorated cars.

Book treat table for children and teens. Crafts and games. Free refreshments.

Donations will be taken of new pajamas and canned food items for those in need.

Please help Ziegels Christian Education by donating books to be given out as a "treat" at Ziegels Trunk or Treat on 10/26. Any new or gently used books from baby to teen are welcome. A labeled box will be available at the outside entrance doors facing our playground/grass area.

Books can be dropped off at Ziegels Union church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, PA. Please have donations in by 10/26.

Please join us for an entertaining and informative presentation as Jim covers the later history of Jefferson including the junior high years, the elementary years, the demolition of the school and the new Jefferson School.

All programs are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served after the program.

This festive community event will include holiday music and performances, live reindeer, hot chocolate, food from the Upper Lehigh Lions Club, craft and business vendors, holiday activities, a craft area courtesy of the Parkland Community Library, s'mores and fire pits AND a food drive to benefit Parkland C.A.R.E.S.! This event is also the last day to put your letters to Santa in the special mailbox!

Tree Lighting will take place at 7:00 p.m.; stay for the opportunity for free photos with Santa once the tree is lit!
