The Seed Farm is a dynamic farming program that increases access to agriculture at all levels, from the farmers in our agricultural incubator program to families facing food insecurity in urban neighborhoods. The Seed Farm plays a unique role, providing land, infrastructure, equipment, training, and access to resources to new farmers; providing materials, technical support, and education to establish and maintain urban gardens at food pantries; growing food for direct distribution to food pantries; and providing year-round education and training opportunities to new and beginning farmers and the broader community.
