The year begins with our traditional evening of historical “show and tell.” Members share family treasures, unusual gadgets, nostalgic photos, and memories. There’s sure to be lots of fun and friendly bantering.

8 AM - 1 PM

We have picked the date (Saturday, September 19, 2020) for the next Heidelberg 5K and we will continue to have a 1-Mile Kids run. We are about to start marketing the event and securing sponsors. We have a core group of volunteers, but are looking for some more help. Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm, at Heidelberg Church. Please contact Brian Lenhart ( or 610-737-5314) if you're interested in volunteering. Volunteers from church and the community are all welcome.

6 PM

Enjoy a relaxing evening with no meeting or business conducted, only the annual covered-dish picnic meal with members and friends. There is always an abundance of delicious food, happy conversation, and talk about “the way it was” in years past. Sometimes even a surprise or two occurs.

7 PM - 9 PM

Mike Fegley will show some of the antique bottles from his extensive collection. Hear where and how he obtained the bottles, and learn about the history connected to each one. Bottles can tell us so much about the past.

11 AM - 12 PM

2,705 cans of soup were collected in 2019... can we get to the goal line and make a touchdown in 2020?!

With your help, we CAN!

Bring your donations of soup along to church and put in the marked boxes in the narthex or the hallway at Fellowship Hall. The soup will be distributed to Northern Lehigh Food Bank and Christ's Church Lowhill Food Pantry at the end of the collection on February 2nd. Let's bring in the CANS!

Thank you and God's blessings for helping out others in our community.

February 22 @ 10:00 a.m. until February 28 @ 8:00 p.m.

The East Penn Chamber of Commerce and Emmaus Main Street Partners are excited to announce the return of the annual East Penn Area Restaurant Week, happening from February 22nd to February 28th, 2026!

Save the date for this week-long celebration of local dining, where we invite the community to explore and support the amazing restaurants throughout the East Penn/Emmaus area. Each year, Restaurant Week brings awareness, exposure, and foot traffic to our beloved local restaurants, driving both new and returning customers to enjoy in-house dining, takeout, or curbside pickup options.

We are eager to showcase a wide variety of dining experiences that highlight the rich culinary scene in our community. Whether you're craving a fine dining experience or a casual bite to eat, Restaurant Week offers something for everyone.

In January we will be hosting something similar to an Annual Meeting where EMSP will provide a review of what events and initiatives they lead or in which they take part. EMSP will have a report from each committee chair detailing the work they do and benefit they bring to the community. We will field questions and look to share information to help people better understand the array of work our group undertakes.
