Join us on Friday, July 16, 2021, as Lehigh Country Club is transformed into a casino, complete with slot machines, gaming tables staffed by professional dealers, a cash giveaway, a treasure chest with amazing prizes, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served throughout the evening and so much more! Proceeds from this event benefit Cedar Crest College students and programs through the Cedar Crest Fund. There are several ways you can make a difference for Cedar Crest College by partnering with us for this event, which will be attended by community leaders, corporate partners, trustees, faculty, staff and alumnae of Cedar Crest College.

Greater Northern Lehigh's Annual Spirit Awards is back on June 21st, 2025! This treasured annual event honors the impact of our local business leaders and community members. Join the Lehigh Valley Chamber as we celebrate over a delicious catered brunch, toasting Bloody Mary's and more as we network at the historic Ontelaunee Park.

Join the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber as they take over the greens at Bear Rock Junction Mini Golf for their Annual Mini Golf Tournament and Membership Appreciation Picnic! This event is a fundraiser that benefits the GNLCC Scholarship Fund, serving students in Parkland, Northern Lehigh, Northwestern, Northampton and LCTI High Schools, and will be combined with our annual Membership Picnic.

Tickets include golf, dinner and dessert, and live music.

The Slatington Parks & Recreation Commission in cooperation with the Northern Lehigh Recreation Authority will hold the annual Keep Slatington Beautiful Park, Town, and Trail Cleanup on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 9 AM-Noon. Interested people, scout troops, and civic organizations are asked to register for the event by calling Robert at 610-554-4099 or by messaging the Recreation Commission on its Facebook page. Volunteers should report to the parking area between the Slatington Maintenance garage, and the Slatington Fire Department on West Church Street. Wear sturdy shoes, all other materials will be provided. Lunch will be provided to the volunteers. There is no rain date. The cleanup will be held in light rain/ showers or shine. In the event of heavy or steady rain, the cleanup will be canceled and held in the fall.

Join us in a special Easter Egg Hunt in the vineyard, followed by a delicious Easter Brunch, provided by The Good Egg.

The Egg Hunt will start PROMPTLY at 10:00AM. Brunch will immediately follow and be available until Noon.

Community members from Emmaus and Upper Milford (and any other surrounding areas) are invited to participate in this fun, earth-conscious event!

We will be cleaning up litter and debris from sites around the borough and township. Also cleaning up and removal of invasive species from the meadow below the pool and Library Buffer areas.

Meet at the Emmaus Community Park on Shimerville Road at South 14th Street at 8:00 AM.

Earth Day and Pick-up PA is a great time to show your commitment to our community's environment. Help out by cleaning up litter and debris and providing community education about the importance of protecting local water resources!

Electronics recycling will be available at the Community Park from 9 to noon or until the truck is full - just stop by with items to recycle like TVs, computers, printers, air conditioners and batteries! Some fees will apply.

Document shredding will be available at the Community Park at no charge to the community from 9 to noon or until the truck is full. Any type of office paper will be accepted. No need to remove staples. Items not accepted are newspapers, cardboard or books. Paper shredding will take place on the site while you wait. Limit 4 boxes per household (office file size boxes only).

Presented by the Borough of Emmaus & Upper Milford Township Joint Environmental Advisory Council. This is a public event and photos may be taken at any time.

MEET the Easter Bunny!

Enter Emmaus Community Park on 14th St. and turn left on the service road and continue to follow signs to a welcoming Easter Bunny and receive 2 Easter Bags: one filled with special eggs and the other a craft project donated by the Emmaus Library.

Limited quantities available!

Filled eggs will be distributed meeting social distancing guidelines.

The bags will be extended in a basket on a 6 ft. pole to your open car window. We will be masked so you do not need to get out of the car.

Wave at the Easter Bunny and continue out the park!

Please support our local fire company, West Penn Fire Co, at their monthly cash bingo!

The Lemon Grass Café offers Thai, Cambodian, and Malaysian inspired food and rice bowls. There are Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free options. Organic, loose leaf teas and a variety of spices are also available for purchase at the café. A Take-out window and Curbside pickup are also available. Come celebrate their grand opening on Monday March 15th at 5:30pm at 1301 Chestnut St Emmaus, PA 18049. Registrations encouraged but not required. Masks must be worn and social distancing actively practiced.
