EMS for Children Day is a free community celebration held during EMS Week, honoring our incredible team while giving kids a fun, hands-on look at the world of emergency medical services. Families can tour our ambulances and emergency vehicles, meet Andy the Ambulance, enjoy activities, face painting, music, and purchase something to eat from Take a Taco or the Udder Bar!

The event will be held outdoors at our main facility (4300 Broadway, Allentown, PA 18104) and is open to everyone at no cost. It’s a great opportunity to connect with our crews, explore lifesaving equipment up close, and learn more about how EMS serves our community.

We’re also proud to partner with S.O.A.R. (Starting Over Animal Rescue) for a special pet adoption opportunity, where attendees can meet animals looking for a loving home.

George Hamm’s son, Walter, has graciously donated a collection of his father’s tools to the society. He will speak on the use of the tools and his personal experience working on the farm with his father and other family members. The tools will be displayed that evening for the first time.

A reception will follow the program.
