New Tripoli Bank Hex Sign Design Contest

Contest Rules

No purchase, payment of any kind or banking relationship necessary to enter or win.  A purchase, payment or banking relationship will not increase your chances of winning.  All entries have an equal chance of winning.  Void where prohibited.  By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

  1. Eligibility: The contest is open to legal U.S. residents who are at least 3 years of age as of the date of entry. Employees and Directors of New Tripoli Bank (hereafter referred to as "Bank") as well as members of their immediate family are not eligible to win. Entries may not contain trademarks or copyrighted intellectual property. The winner may be required to provide his/her Tax Identification Number for IRS reporting purposes. The Contest is void where prohibited by law and subject to all federal, state and local laws. The eligibility for your design to be selected as the winner is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements as set by the Bank in their sole discretion. 
  2. Promotion Period: Entries can be submitted between Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. EST and Friday, June 20th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. EST
  3. How To Enter: During the Contest period, anyone may visit one of the Bank's three branches during normal business hours to pick up a hex sign design Contest Entry Sheet. This Contest Entry Sheet can also be downloaded here. Entrants can use any method to create their hex design (e.g., crayon, colored pencil, digital art). Once completed, entrants would then provide their Contest Entry Sheet to a Bank employee or can be submitted online here. Completed Contest Entry Sheets should clearly contain the entrant's name and phone number on the back. One Contest Entry Sheet per entrant can be submitted using only the provided Contest Entry Sheet. Entrants may pick up their Contest Entry Sheets within one week following the announcement of contest winners. One week following the announcement, Contest Entry Sheets become the property of the Bank.
  4. Voting Period. Following the end of the Entry Period, there will be a two week voting period from Monday, June 23rd, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. EST until Friday, July 4th, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. EST. Finished Contest Entry Sheets will be on display at each Bank branch office as well as on the Bank's social media pages and websites for the duration of the voting period. Entrants' names will not be visible during the voting period. Votes will be collected in branches as well as online. Voting is limited to one vote per person per day and one vote per person online as allowable under the contest rules.
  5. Determination of Winners:  On July 7th, 2025, one (1) winner will be chosen; the winner will be determined as the design that received the most votes during the voting period, both online and in-person. The Bank will make every effort to contact the winners on Monday, July 7th, 2025, once the winner has been determined. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to comply with contest rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected in the Bank’s sole discretion. Once a winner has been determined and contacted, the winning design will be sent by the Bank to Claypoole Hexsigns to be curated. Once the project is completed, the winning design will be on display at one of the Bank's offices for one week following completion. During this time, the winner will again be contacted and, following the display period, the prize will be made available for pick-up during regular business hours at the Bank branch of the winner's choosing. Once the prize has been commissioned and the winner is contacted a second time, if it is not claimed after 30 days, it will be considered abandoned and become property of the Bank for use at the Bank's discretion. 
  6. Prizes: The winning design will be curated at the Bank's expense. The Bank will commission Claypoole Hexsigns for curation based on the winning design. This can include, cutting, pasting, painting and manufacturing. The Bank will be solely responsible for communications with Claypoole Hexsigns regarding the curation of the prize. The size and scale of the prize is at the sole discretion of the Bank. Restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. All aspects of the prize will be provided and determined by the Bank in its sole discretion. No substitution, transfer, assignment or cash equivalent for the prize shall be made.  Prizes are not transferable. Any depictions of the prize are for illustrative purposes and prize is subject to availability/may change.
  7. Approximate Retail Value and Odds: The approximate retail value of the curated hex sign is $250.  Odds of winning will depend on the total number of entries received during the promotion period.
  8. Taxes: Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued. 
  9. General Terms and Conditions: The Bank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the Bank’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper function of the Contest. The Bank is not responsible for any lost, late, incorrect, inaccurate, undelivered, damaged, or delayed entries. Entries are property of the Bank for the duration of the contest, after which all submitted designs become the sole intellectual property of the entrant. Entries cannot include trademarks or copyrighted intellectual property. Additionally, entries cannot include or be obscene, indecent, offensive, disrespectful, violent and/or contain hateful content as determined solely by the Bank. All decisions of the Bank are final. 
  10. Consent and Agreement:  By submitting an entry, the entrant as well as their parent/legal guardian are signifying their agreement to abide by these rules. 
  11. Release / Publicity: Each entrant grants the Bank the right and permission to use his/her entry, name, photograph, and likeness, in whole or in part, in any and all media, now or hereafter known, for any purpose, including but not limited to, illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, trade, social media, or any other purpose whatsoever without restriction. Each entrant waives the right to approve the finished product and agrees that the Bank is not responsible for any publishing errors caused by them or their media outlets.
