New Tripoli Bank Staff are BankSafe Certified
But what does that mean?
BankSafe is an initiative of AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) to assist banks in identifying financial exploitation. All of New Tripoli Bank’s employees have taken this course to enable them to identify fraud, help our customers safeguard their assets and prevent financial exploitation.
The program focuses on four key areas of instruction:
- Preventing financial exploitation
- Empowering family caregivers
- Helping those with dementia
- Making banking tools and environments easier to access
With victims losing $120,000 on average to financial exploitation, prevention measures are critical to New Tripoli Bank's mission to protect retirees and elderly members of our community. We take our customers' financial well-being very seriously at New Tripoli Bank and we expect this certification will help our employees better serve the Lehigh Valley.
